HealthPathways COVID-19 response package now available

On Monday 9 March, we let you know that Streamliners had established a COVID-19 core response group to develop a HealthPathways COVID-19 pathway and resources package for use across the community.

Today Friday 13 March, we released the HealthPathways COVID-19 Response Package on Base HealthPathways and provided links to the individual pages in a COVID-19 package guide on Online Help.

Over the last seven days, a great deal of time and effort has gone into rapidly developing this package and we’d like to acknowledge the contributions made by our regional group clinical advisors: Dr Justine Lancaster (NZ), Dr Aaron Kennedy (QLD), Dr Kellie McDonald (VIC/TAS), Dr Sue Jackson (NT/SA/WA), and Dr Renee Strazzari (ACT/NSW), under the leadership of Dr Louise Delaney (Clinical Lead - Advice and Support) and Dr Mike Ardagh (Clinical Lead - HealthPathways Content).

How we can help your team

HealthPathways COVID-19 Response Package

The aim of the package is to:

  • ensure the HealthPathways Community's ability to present up-to-date guidance for clinicians that aligns with state or national level guidance.
  • minimise duplication of effort across the community and ensure that there is enough technical writing capacity to allow for rapid content updates.

You will find links to individual pages in the package in Online Help COVID-19 Response Package (log in using the accessall credentials).

Coordinating the COVID-19 response across the community

By next Monday 16 March, we are aiming to have met with the programme managers, senior clinical editors, and sponsors in all regional groups. We’re intending to establish regular regional group meetings over the coming weeks to support each regional group response.

Seeking state and national level support

We are engaging at state and national levels to seek support and ensure this work aligns with emergency response plans.
