HealthPathways Western Victoria is keeping pace with its neighbours on the other side of Port Phillip after reaching its own 300 pathway milestone.
Both teams are in the midst of exciting growth which is seeing them incorporate new regions and combine their resources with other teams to align the HealthPathways presence in and around Melbourne.
HealthPathways Western Victoria has expanded into the Grampians on the back of last year’s introduction of primary health networks.
This is now seeing the team that started out covering just Barwon in 2013 leverage their experience to guide new colleagues from Ballarat in the HealthPathways localisation process.
But they’ve also been on-hand to welcome new teams to the community after being an integral part of last month’s Work Programme seminars for HealthPathways Gippsland and HealthPathways Murray.
All things considered, the team has had a busy but rewarding start to 2016.
“It was great to celebrate another milestone of 300 pathways completed - we're about 40% localised and looking forward to being over 50% localised on our site,” Coordinator Margie McLeod says.
The HealthPathways Western Victoria team celebrated their 300th pathway with a low sugar lemon tart provided by Clinical Editor Michael Axtens.
