As part of the lead-up to the 2018 HealthPathways Conference, community members were invited to enter a poster competition, with more than 20 entries representing collaboration within and across health systems.
The posters were received and displayed during the conference from 14-16 May 2018 in Newcastle, Australia. Votes were received during Day 1 and 2, with prizes for the winning posters awarded early on Day 3. Winners of the Delegates’ Award, Judges’ Award, and Participants’ Award each received a book and certificate.
These colourful, well designed, and thoughtfully presented posters showcase the local health system change that is being achieved through HealthPathways regional collaboration. Now available on the HealthPathways Community website for all to view, the posters can be used as both a source of inspiration and a valuable learning resource.
Award Winning Posters
The award winning entries were:
- Delegates’ Award: Western Victoria for “Integrating HealthPathways into Student Learning”
- Judges’ Award: Western Australia for “Itching to Collaborate”
- Participants’ Award: Mackay for “Translating Evidence Locally to Create Global Patient Health Impacts”
Congratulations to the winners of the poster competition and to all who took part. These fantastic posters are a credit to all who worked on them, and to the projects represented.

Can we develop a Case Study from your poster?
We think that many of the posters could be developed into written Case Studies to share amongst the HealthPathways Community. If you would like to work with Streamliners to create a case study based on your poster, please email comms@streamliners.co.nz
