HealthPathways users will notice that an enhanced Search function has been introduced to all HealthPathways sites. Now when a user types in a key word, the Search function will create a drop box of possible words or phrases. Users can then select the closest match and click on "Search". This helps narrow down the list of resulting pathways.
The options revealed in the drop box are taken from nearly half a million searches over several years. The most frequently searched terms form the foundation of the Search set for all the HealthPathways websites. The HealthPathways IT Team also looked at the words and phrases that did not find a result. They've added alternative keywords or synonyms to the Search set to assist with those searches.
This new function is dynamic and more words can be added to the Search set over time. You can ask your lead writer to add new keywords to individual pathways when they go live and to your site's Search set.
