A dedicated online launch site is at the centre of HealthPathways South Western Sydney’s official launch at the end of this week.

The innovative site can be used as an online interactive e-learning package (powered by Prezi) or as a static website. It walks users through an introduction to HealthPathways that explains what it is and why it works, as well as how to navigate its content.

“The online launch site provides details regarding all aspects of HealthPathways, from history, to site contents, to how health professionals can be involved. A series of videos have also been developed for the online launch,” Coordinator Ben Neville says.

The official launch kicks off on Saturday May 21 with trade stalls at the South Western Sydney PHN Annual GP Conference. It will include a hospital roadshow of HealthPathways at five of South Western Sydney’s major hospitals.

The HealthPathways South Western Sydney site went live on July 1 last year with a soft launch strategy designed to allow the site to reach a critical mass of 150 localised pathways before it was promoted to local GPs and hospital specialists. The site now features more than 160 localised pathways.
